New for November 2025

I'm trying to be much more intentional in keeping things updated and taking care of all of the little details that I've been doing for so many years. Life has had some challenges, and will definitely have some more, and God is faithful. I will give Him glory (a new design). It is all His (another new design). He has overcome the world (yep, I have a new design for this one, too!). And I need to remember where my heart is at (do I need to say it again?!? lol)

MBT-330 To Him Be Glory

To Him be glory, now and forever. Selections from 2 Peter 3:18. Model stitched on 32 ct. country french linen, Cafe Mocha, with Weeks Dye Works thread. Stitch count is 97w x 65h. Companion design to MBT-160 Walk by Faith, MBT-176 Saved by Grace, MBT-182 Love One Another, MBT-209 Guide Me in Truth, MBT-232 Wait in Hope, MBT-278 The God of Peace

MBT-331 Blessed Be the Name

The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away, blessed be the name of the Lord. Selections from Job 1:21. I've been reminded over and over again how it is all His. Through the past few years, especially, we have seen the hand of God give abundantly and remove in like manner. Some have been joyous blessings, and some things have been, let's just say, less than comfortable. Yet, we still bless His name. Some of those less than comfortable things have turned out to be the greatest blessings, so we will bless. Model stitched on Fiber on a Whim 32 ct. linen, Cafe au Lait, with Gentle Art Sampler thread. Stitch count is 51w x 147h.

MBT-332 I Have Overcome the World

In the world you will have trouble but take heart I have overcome the world John 16:33. This is another one that has a very personal meaning for the season we have been in. I stitch what I live, and the past few years have been a roller coaster, and He has overcome. Model stitched on 32 ct. linen, clay/barn gray, with Weeks Dye Works thread. Stitch count is 99w x 99h. Companion design to MBT-319 My Strength and Portion.

MBT-333 Where Your Treasure Is

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also Matthew 6:21. Model stitched on 32 ct. jobelan, Lambswool, with Weeks Dye Works thread. Stitch count is 67w x 99h.

Winter Sheep Thread Keep and Minder

We are settling well into Kentucky, and having our first fall in our new place. It's beautiful! The trees and the colors of the leaves are amazing. I don't know what winter will look like, but we still have all of our accessories from our time in Idaho, and I will take each season in its time. Lots of little (and big!) house projects have been getting done. I'm figuring out what life looks like with an empty nest, and I have to say I enjoy not *having* to set a good example by making my bed every day (but I still do) or washing my dishes right away (yep, I still do this, too). I've been having fun with unique items on Etsy and that has filled a creative need for me where I can play more in the beads. Someone had asked about digital charts and you will find them there. Soon I hope to start hanging needlework on the walls and making this truly feel like home.

Sending out prayers with each stitch, for any who has a reason to choose one of these designs, and those who are needing the words of comfort, encouragement, or needs someone to rejoice with them. XO

It's been a while

I had a very gentle nudge from a friend, who noticed I'd been a bit absent online and here on the blog. The best I can say is life happened. We have had a lot of transition, and most of that has come out in my designs in the past year and a half. There has been illness, brokenness, rebuilding, faith, growth, and great challenges and blessings in ministry. I've learned what friendship is, what covenant is, and where absolute truth and comfort comes from. There hasn't been a lot of sassy stitching, but I'm hoping that will start to come back soon.

For new chart releases for this month, I have four offerings.

MBT-326 Only Be Still

This verse is from Exodus 14:14 and has been a bit of an anthem. I want so much to set things right, and fight for the good things (and occasionally the selfish things), and God is showing me that it isn't my job to fight every battle. He has already fought them. I need to be at peace in Him. The model is stitched on 28 ct. jobelan, "Lambswool," with Weeks Dye Works thread. It is a companion to the designs MBT-183 Trust in Him, MBT-192 Hope and a Future, MBT-211 My Soul Finds Rest, MBT-219 Still Waters, MBT-235 God With You, MBT-258 New Mercies and MBT-292 Strength and Dignity. They are the same stitch count, style, and frame type.

MBT-327 Lovely Littles II

These perfectly teachable pieces make it convenient and easy to share the art we love. I've been doing small custom designs to teach people how to stitch, and I decided they would be fun to release as a compilation. The paper is easy to hold, easy to frame, and DMC makes for an affordable fiber. Add in the shelf ready mini frame sizes, and all three of these can be completely finished for under $20. Total! For the experienced stitcher, they are a break from the big pieces and make great ornaments and gifts. This particular chart includes Best Friends, Chickens, and Lord Have Mercy.

MBT-328 God of All Comfort

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort who comforts us in all our afflictions, so that we may be able to comfort those in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves receive from God, 2 Corinthians 1:3-4.

This has been my resting place. It was the reminder that no struggle is wasted, no affliction is without purpose, and what we gain in wisdom and comfort is what we then give out to the next person God puts in front of us. This design was the closing of a very difficult season, and it led into the next new design... joy. Before we go there, however, this model was stitched on Picture This Plus 32 ct. linen, "Sand," with Gentle Art Sampler Thread. It fits a standard 11x14 frame which makes it more affordable for framing.

MBT-329 Joy

This is how we have wrapped up our spring. With joy. Joy in new beginnings, joy in new family, joy in true covenant, joy in all of the tears and pain and uncertainty and maaaaayyybe a few more tears. Joy in knowing that God has it all, knows every step, and that joy truly does come in the morning. The model is stitched on 32 ct. country French linen, "Cafe Mocha," with the happiest colored Weeks Dye Works thread I could find. This is a companion design to MBT-097 Peace, MBT-197 Love, MBT-254 Grace, and MBT-295 Hope.

There are bunches of new accessories, and the past year of charts, that you can find by visiting my website. Some of you may know that we have moved from Texas to Kentucky, which has been an incredible, hilarious, exhausting, and very blessed journey. God gave us some of the best people and most outrageous adventures along the way. Doodlebug is getting married, ministry has blossomed and changed, and it is good. God is good.
